We use Google AdSense to integrate advertisements on our website. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Google AdSense stores cookies and so-called web beacons on your device via your internet browser. This enables Google to analyze your use of our website. The information collected in this way is transmitted to Google in the USA, along with your IP address and the advertising formats displayed to you, and stored there. Google can also pass this information on to contractual partners. However, Google declares that your IP address will not be merged with other data from you.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) lit.f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website.
If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. You can find details on this under the heading “Cookies” above.
Google also offers

further information, in particular about the possibilities of preventing data usage.
Google Remarketing or “Similar Audiences” component of Google
We use the remarketing or “similar target groups” function on our website. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
We use this function to place interest-based, personalized advertising on third-party websites that also participate in the Google advertising network.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) lit.f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website.
So that this advertising service can be enabled, Google stores a cookie with a sequence of numbers on your end device via your Internet browser when you visit our website. This cookie records both your visit and the use of our website in anonymized form. However, personal data will not be passed on. If you then visit the website of a third party, which in turn also uses the Google advertising network, advertisements may appear that relate to our website or our offers there.
To permanently deactivate this function, Google offers for the most common internet browsers via
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
a browser plug-in.
The use of cookies from certain providers, for example via
http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices
or
http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/
deactivated via opt-out.
Through what is known as cross-device marketing, Google may be able to track your usage behavior across multiple devices, so that you may be shown interest-based, personalized advertising even if you switch devices. However, this requires that you have agreed to link your browser history to your existing Google account.
Google offers further information on Google Remarketing at
https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/
at.
affilinet tracking cookies
We also advertise offers and services from third parties on our website. If you conclude a contract with the third party provider based on our advertising for these third-party offers, we will receive a commission for this.
In order to be able to correctly record the successful placement, we use the so-called affilinet tracking cookie. However, this cookie does not save any of your personal data. Only our identification number as the intermediary provider and the serial number of the advertising material you have clicked on (e.g. a banner or a text link) is recorded. We need this information for the purpose of processing payments or paying out our commissions.
If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by setting your Internet browser. You can find more information on this under “Cookies” above.
